TAKESHOT ACADEMY — MASCOT

CONCEPT · 2026

Small player, big jumps.

Small player, big jumps.

Small player, big jumps.

Takeshot Academy is a basketball school for kids aged 8+. The academy needed a mascot who feels like one of the players: quick, a little cheeky and never sitting on the bench.

He lives on the academy website first and moves onto merch later. My part: character design, 10 vector poses and emotions, and a 3D version generated with AI from my drawings.

WHY A RABBIT

Jumps high.

Runs fast.

Reacts first.

The rabbit was chosen as the image of a nimble, fast and tenacious player — the qualities that matter most in basketball. Long ears and a sports headband make him readable even as a tiny sticker.
